Welcome to the Town of Winnsboro’s Building Department. The department’s goal is to educate consumers to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the people who live, work and play in the Town of Winnsboro through compliance with the provisions of all applicable building codes and other governmental agencies regulating construction within the town.
The Building Department is responsible for ensuring compliance with IBC-2006 including but not limited to:
- Reviewing plans for compliance with the applicable codes
- Inspecting the work at progressive stages
- Collecting permits fees
- Issuing Certificates of Occupancy
