COVID-19 Notice

WINNSBORO MAYOR, ROGER GADDY AND TOWN ADMINISTRATOR, DON WOOD, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TOWN OF WINNSBORO TOWN COUNCIL RELEASE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION WITH REGARD TO THE CORONAVIRUS – COVID-19.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY ALL TOWN FACILITIES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PUBLIC SAFETY WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

ESSENTIAL SERVICES WILL CONTINUE TO BE PROVIDED (POLICE, FIRE, STREETS SANITATION, GAS, ELECTRIC, WATER AND SEWER). ONLY INTERUPTIONS IN SERVICE WILL BE HANDLED. PLEASE DO NOT PUT PRODUCTS THAT WILL CLOG UP SEWER SYSTEMS IN TOILETS. SERVICE REQUEST WILL BE RECEIVED VIA TELEPHONE AND E-MAILS, NO WALK-IN BUSINESS IS PERMITTED.

STREETS AND SANITATION WILL HAVE GARBAGE PICK UP ON THE NORMAL DAYS. NO YARD DEBRIS OR APPLIANCES WILL BE PICKED UP UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

UTILITY CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE: THE TOWN OF WINNSBORO WILL NOT BE DISCONNECTING CUSTOMERS; HOWEVER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FULL PAYMENT OF THE UTILITY BILL. GOVERNOR MCMASTER REQUESTED UTILITIES NOT BE CUT OFF – THE GOVERNOR DID NOT SAY YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY YOUR UTILITY BILL. YOU MAY VIEW YOUR BILL ON LINE, MAKE PAYMENTS ON LINE OR DROP PAYMENTS IN THE DROP BOX AT THE ANNEX. IF YOU DO NOT REMEMBER YOUR PASSWORD, PLEASE CALL THE TOWN HALL ANNEX FOR DIRECTIONS. 803-635-4041
