Administrative Assistant/Clerk

Performs various clerical duties in support of council functions. Responsible for a variety of tasks such as recording proceedings of council actions, preparing council agendas, etc. Provides direct assistance to the town manager in the annexation and budget processes, and provides clerical assistance. Serves as the primary contact for citizen/customer inquires, concerns and or complaints. Preforms assigned duties as required. Reports to the town manager.

Must be high school graduate with vocational/technical training in secretarial science, and 1-2 years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.
